Benjamin conducts his healing ceremonies at his Pachakuti Mesa (see photo below). This ancient healing technology consists of a hand-woven Peruvian cloth with various healing objects arranged on it. These can include stones, crystals, rattles, tobacco, perfumes, musical instruments and other sacred pieces.

Benjamin activates the mesa by calling the directions in Q'echua, the ancient language of the Incas. He then charges the mesa by calling in the angels, guides, masters and other benevolent forces which actually do the healing.

During his healing ceremonies, Benjamin acts as a conduit for divine energy. He acts as “Spirit's puppet,” and only takes action when intuitively instructed to do so. Some ceremonies are low-key, with most of the work done quietly on a subtle energetic level. Others can be quite eventful and dramatic!

In the shamanic worldview, all illness and disharmony – physical, emotional, mental or spiritual – has a spiritual cause. Shamanic healing works by clearing the client's body of the malefic energies that are the root of the problem. Once this is done, the physical, emotional and mental levels naturally return to a state of wellness.

Some shamans work by “dominating the spirits” and imposing their will. Benjamin, however, has been guided to allow Spirit to operate through him, with as little interference from his ego as possible.

Sitting at shamanic mesa Even when Benjamin asks for the healing of a particular issue, he always includes the “karma-free safety clause”: let this take place only if it will serve the highest good. Benjamin cannot guarantee any particular outcome, since the end result of each ceremony is entirely in Spirit's hands. But his clients have been very pleased with the results of this “thy will be done” approach.

Benjamin is extremely grateful to maestro curandero Don Diego, whose ayahuasca ceremonies have been central to the development of Benjamin's healing abilities. Benjamin's consistent participation as a certified Blessing Giver in Oneness Blessing (Deeksha) ceremonies has also helped his healing abilities flower.

Benjamin's shamanic healing sessions typically last about 90 minutes, but may run shorter or longer as Spirit dictates. Please allow up to two hours. The sliding scale fee is $150-$75, satisfaction guaranteed. If even $75 is too much, you may inquire about reduced-rate or pro bono work.
